WORDS FROM THE ANGEL (March 16, 1985)

I have seen the eyes of a child

when hope was no longer in their heart.

I have seen families who were meant to be together

Savagely torn apart.

I have been at the top of the mountain;

the view I did not want to see.

Where once were cities, tall and proud

no longer will they be.

I have felt the human hunger.

Tasted the innocents pain.

The earthquakes are my emptiness,

my heartaches are the rain.

Death couches at my doorstep

trying to take the children away.

My body is bloodied and weary

as I try to keep him at bay.

The devil is a greedy man,

with many to help him cope.

He takes the children one by one.

We fight so hard, for they our only hope.

God has not given up

on what we call mankind.

He believes there is enough love in their hearts

and knowledge in their mind.

With faith on these fragile people

my Father has sent with me before,

angels to guard against the evil

knocking at your nursery door.

The babies inside are safe for now.

New homes have been found for all.

There are even people on earth

who have listened and believed God's call.

The path ahead for the children

is not an easy one.

The battles are just beginning

but the war must be won.

There are teachers and leaders in this war.

Without even one of them, would be at a major cost.

They need to give hope back to the world

or all the world will be lost.

If you are called in the night

you must wake and listen with your heart.

For all the prophets and the saints

must work together, not apart.
